A view of the Stumpery.

The Stumpery is a Victorian garden convention,

and the planted tree roots and twisted wooden branches provide a haven for insects.

Stumperies also add a theatrical dimension to any garden.

Ferns and Hostas also add an inspirational addition to a shaded area of any garden.

Our Stumpery was inspired by the famous stumpery at Highgrove the garden owned by

HRH King Charles.
